GBCIHA Drawing Winner

The winner of the drawing held July 14 was Larry Burrett of Battle Creek; ticket # 0113 . Larry will be walking away with $6,760.00!!! Congratulations goes to Mr. Burrett and many thanks goes to everyone who purchased a ticket to help support the wonderful sport of hockey!

Tom Joslyn Family Memorial Golf Tournament & Pig Roast

This great event will take place Saturday, August 2nd.  All proceeds will go to the children's college education.  They are also looking for donations for the silent auction.

GBCIHA Board Meeting August 11, 2008

Our next festive GBCIHA Board meeting will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2008 at 6:00 pm at Lakeview High School.

2008 - 2009 REGISTRATION

Registration for all teams and age levels including Learn To Skate and Cross Ice will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2008 & Sunday, August 24, 2008 at The Rink.

August 16, 2008 - Registration Only

August 24, 2008 - Registration Open House. All coaches will be on hand and available, uniform/jersey sizing, equipment rental, Mom-to-Mom sale and free hot dogs and soda. We are hoping there will also be ice at that time and will keep you updated.

Please plan on being at either event and make sure you bring your USA Hockey registration page and birth certificate with you. More details to come along with additional information on the Mom-to-Mom sale.

Midget AA Tryouts

Tryouts will be held on the following days listed below. Should you have any questions, please contact Bob Elegert at (269) 962-7801 after 4 pm or by email bigdaddybob49@yahoo.com.

  • July 25 @ 7:30-8:30pm
  • July 29 @ 7:30-8:30 pm
  • August 5 @ 7:30-8:30 pm
  • August 12 @ 7:30-8:30 pm

All tryouts will be held at Wing stadium (cube or annex) and players are required to be in the locker room an hour prior to taking the ice. Also, we will are looking for 2 level four assistant coaches; if you are interested, please contact Bob directly.
