Greater Battle Creek Ice Hockey Association

Welcome to Battle Creek Hockey New Players!

Kid playing Hockey in Red Wings JerseyBy choosing ice hockey, you have made an important decision to not only provide your child with an opportunity to strengthen themselves physically but mentally as well.  Not to mention - they are going to have fun!!

Ice hockey has enormous appeal for children and adolescents. Your child will learn about teamwork and be allowed many opportunities to succeed. At the same time, playing ice hockey tones and strengthens every major muscle group, and as a recreational sport, ice hockey is something children can carry into their adult lives.

Signing up is very easy and is accomplished by three simple steps:

  1. No matter what age (even if you're 85!), all players need to register with USA Hockey prior to registering with us.  This is done on-line at www.usahockeyregistration.com and you will need to make sure you are at a computer with a printer. If your child is the age of 6 or under by 12/31 of the current year, they are free; over six, there is a $30 fee.. Make sure you print the confirmation page and submit it with the rest of your registration packet.
  2. After you have completed your USAHockey registration, please open, print and complete this registration form. Together with the USAHockey confirmation page and the completed registration packet below, all players must also submit 2 copies of their birth certificate.  Our registration form includes the fee schedule for all levels of hockey.  The Learn To Skate and Learn To Play (3HL) players need to pay in full at time of registration; all others may pay 1/2 at registration with the balance due December 2 of the playing year.   If it is past the December 2 deadline, payment arrangements can be made directly with the Registrar.  If you think you might have trouble paying for the complete season, click on "Scholarship Program"; you might qualify for assistance.
  3. All required documents and any payments that may be due need to be mailed to the Registrar.  The mailing address is located at the top of our registration form.   Should you have any questions, concerns or trouble completing any part of the process, please contact Noreen Clifton at 269-274-8661.

We're glad to have you!
